I have held a number of senior leadership positions in companies. These experiences have given me an appreciation for what it takes to build a successful team. I have deep understanding of what makes companies grow.

His work interests include: development finance, specializing in all aspects of housing, rural finance and restructuring of financial institutions towards inclusive financial markets against poverty, managing key corporate relationships as well as supporting and achievement of National and Regional sales targets through bulk acquisitions and strategic alliances.

 

In his capacity as Business Development Head at FNB Home Loans for the past 5 years, he has been part of major developments in Africa including the development of new townships across 8 countries (Tanzania, South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland, Namibia, Botswana, Ghana, Lesotho and Zambia).

 

His extensive management consulting experience has allowed him to work on various projects for government, banking, mining institutions and housing developers across Africa. Prior to that, he held a full-time position at Bafihle Innovations with major focus on government contracts which included project management for major events such as APRM program document submission, Department of Social Development Batho Pele action plan 2005.

 

His last position that of CVP Specialist ABSA included activities such as designing, testing and developing customer value propositions, which to the launch of a ground breaking product in banking known as Hawker Loan which was a first for banking globally and is set to create new trends in development finance.

 

Rashaka is passionate about his focus area, development finance and construction, focused partnering as it focuses on his core passion, people. Specialties include: Film/Content Production, Development finance, housing developments, micro finance, banking, marketing and business.
